Some of the highlights from this year.
This year was one for the books! As we near the end of 2024, we have a lot to celebrate, reflect on, and be grateful for. From a brand refresh to some brand new faces, we wanted to share some highlights from throughout this year!
Crisp 2024 by the Numbers
- 1 new website and refreshed brand identity launched!
- 5 new Crispers joined the team – hello, Jessika, Eric, Max, Tope, and Michael!
- 5 Crispers were promoted this year – congrats, Molly, Eric, Abby, Nick, and Elysse!
- 23 editions of Fractionally Speaking, our email newsletter, sent (if you’re not already subscribed, sign up here)
- 11 businesses awarded a Canada Digital Adoption Program grant with us as their approved advisor. We were sad to see the program go, but happy to have facilitated connections with some wonderful businesses and people!
- 200+ customer discovery and partner meetings booked
- 12 lunch and learns led by our team and partners
- 6 conferences attended by members of our team: SocialPacific, Collision, Business Transitions Forum, SAAS NORTH, INNOVATEwest, and DigiMarCon
- 11 Show, Share, and Tell sessions to showcase to each other what we’re working on
- 150+ hours spent volunteering as part of our corporate citizenship initiative
- 1 fantastic spring social hosted for our team, clients, partners, and friends
- 13 team remote and virtual happy hours and get-togethers (so nice to have as a remote-first crew)
- 12,250+ tasks completed on ClickUp, our project management tool
- Countless Slack messages and Zoom meetings (hello, remote work!)
Other Highlights from 2024
Beyond the numbers, here are some things that made us proud and excited this year:
- Partnering with the YWCA PowerUp program to present at their Entrepreneurial Showcase, and having the opportunity to teach the marketing section of their accelerator
- Launching the beta version of our Marketing Accelerator course
- Hosting a breakfast panel event with Skyrocket Digital
- Being featured on an episode of Greater Than the Sum, Plooto’s podcast
- Reading our CEO Christine’s article contributions as a member of Forbes Business Council
- Signing a lease on a new office space for 2025! Stay tuned…
When it comes to our clients, we had a similarly diverse and rewarding list. Here are some of the highlights:
- Collaborating with Kintec on their refreshed website
- Supporting and celebrating the launch of The Cheerful Pelvis’ new clinic space
- Cheering on The Forum for raising a record $1M+ at the Odlum Brown Forum Pitch Finale, an event we’ve supported for the past few years
- Helping Clarity Planning host their first webinar, with more exciting events to come
- Creating a website to help get Upside Solutions up and running
- Watching Cube Business Media win the Think Ottawa Leader Award for Signature Event for SAAS NORTH, which we supported with full-channel marketing efforts
- Launching Fikse’s first new wheel, the Profil F-18, in over a decade!
- Contributing to a very successful Movember fundraising effort with campaign execution support for Twin Lions Contracting
- Taking MATT3R from stealth mode to go-to-market launch
- Supporting the Karina LeBlanc Foundation in launching the first cohort of their Femtorship Program
- Facilitating a brand refresh and a series of successful partner events for Celestial Systems, including joint workshops with Microsoft in Vancouver and Toronto
- Helping Tall Tree launch their new Longevity Program (and watching them win a Best of Vancouver award for Wellness: Physiotherapy Clinics!)
- Campaign management for LOCO BC’s annual BC Buy Local Week
- Promoting and supporting Covers & Co’s legendary Field of Dreams community event, which raised over $60,000 for the Clearwater Foundation
